This Health Care Bill SUCKS!!!
I find it hilarious every time I turn on the T.V. and watch MSNBC, the pundits are always mad at the electorate because we aren’t in favor of all this government spending. They are always defending the administration and also this health care plan better known as “Obamacare”. They were showing a video of Arlen Specter (the republican gone democrat from Pennsylvania), getting booed by his constituents when he was trying to sell “Obamacare” to them. I’ll show you the video, here a woman asks how we can trust the federal government to run health care when they couldn’t properly run “cash for clunkers”. Check it out:
This bill on “Obamacare” is so long that nobody is congress has read it there is no way they have. So how can they possibly come out and say it is a good idea to impose this on the American people if doesn’t work in any other country?
Here in this video, a soldier in St. Louis, MO really sticks it to Sen. Clair McCaskill’s (D) PR people at a town hall meeting. Instead of coming angry, he came angry and motivated and educated. Check him out:
People understand that government is terrible at running just about anything it tries to run. There are some post offices closing around the country because of companies like UPS are putting them in the ground on sales. Majority of us understand that Canada has a socialized health care, and the people there on average hate it. The system they have is single payer, so if you have a lot of money, and I mean a lot of money (I am talking $900 for a check up! That is $25 USD with United Health Care!) then the system is great, but if you are part of the middle class or lower middle class then the care you get is terrible. BUT IT IS FREE!!!! ISN”T THAT GREAT?!?!?! No, no it is not. the people there go to work, and make an honest wage for the amount of work they put in. Then the government will tax them, then the territory will, the state and the municipality gets their take. Then there is sales tax and a health care tax in your paycheck and in some municipalities they tax you for paying to much in taxes (and I am not joking).
The government of Canada gets all this revenue in taxes, and their program still sucks. I don’t know if I am not as “intelligent” as those bureaucrats in Washington, D.C., but my common sense tells me that this is a terrible idea with some really terrible results.
Thanks!

Every election cycle the media and the politicians try really hard to get America’s youth out to the polls, yet they never seem to flock to the voting booth. Some years they turn out maybe a few percent better than the last one, and others it is a little worse. What is really keeping the youth from voting? Some pundits say that voter 18-25 are too busy partying and being self indulgent, while others say that this demographic just isn’t interested. I say that those people who say that they find it not interesting: YOU ARE CORRECT! There is a reason that young voters are not voting, and it is because they are turned off, they are turned off by the lies and the taxes on their small wages that make it difficult to advance themselves.
People in the 18-25 range are naturally rebellious and more willing to take risks and the government pushes them away by never reducing laws but constantly add them. So when you have an election cycle when you have two candidates who are saying virtually nothing (which in return makes them saying the same thing), how do you expect a person who is 20 to be really turned on by that?!?!
The only way to get a high turn out by people 18-25 is to simply offer a reduction of the “nanny state”. Reduction of government and less government intervention in everyday life, let them keep majority of their paychecks and give incentive for being productive, then you will find out that more and more youth will want to vote, and will probably add a spark to our economy.
But what do I know? I’m just a 20 year old myself….
Thanks!

To start off this blog I want to show you a new video out there. This is Glenn Beck from Fox News who is showing how the website cars.gov (a government website), has a link in it that gives the federal government control of your computer when you click it. The government has been over stepping its reach a little lately….. and this video is a good example of how.
Yesterday I wrote a short blog on what it means to be a conservative. At the end I concluded that conservative is not a word that groups people together with similar social beliefs but is rather a way to describe someone’s beliefs on what size and capabilities a government should have.
There is an “anti-conservative” train of thought, and it isn’t liberalism. It is actually Progressivism. Progressives believe that the government is the sole avenue for anything in civilian life. It should provide every need for the people within the borders the government presides. This type of philosophy is slowly taking over this country. It is an act that has been going on for a little over 100 years, and going so slow that the people don’t even realize how we got here.
You can credit Teddy Roosevelt for the very first big step towards progressivism. He spoke frankly about how we needed a federal income tax to raise more revenue for the federal government, and how we as a country need a tax code for the greater good. Here is a quote by him:
“A heavy progressive tax upon a very large fortune is in no way such a tax upon thrift or industry as a like would be on a small fortune. No advantage comes either to the country as a whole or to the individuals inheriting the money by permitting the transmission in their entirety of the enormous fortunes which would be affected by such a tax…”
Progressivism is not a left or a right ideology. It is so far out to the left and the right that it falls off the political spectrum and meet at the bottom where it tries to feed at our most basic human functions. Look at any country that has let the “fair” and “equal” philosophy of progressives take control:
This is just a small list compared to the actual amount of countries. Most of them are countries people have never heard of. None of these countries are evil by any means, but it is fair to say that none of them are very prominent either. I don’t see America calling the Netherlands for back up when WW3 comes around, simply because all of their spending goes towards giving the people their basic necessities with very little defense spending.
Progressivism is simply a new and nicer word for communism. There is no way after what communism did to the world, that an educated person would let communism play any role in his or her government. That is why “commies” use the word progressive, simply as a way to enter an educated society quietly and discreetly.

Continue Reading »What Does It Mean To Be A Conservative?
Here’s a video of President Reagan explaining conservative values. And then I will give my take.
What makes a conservative a conservative? Well that question is as easy to answer as it is hard to answer. There are certain principals that are undeniably “conservative principals”.
I will list them:
1. Government is an entity that gets in the way of citizens; not help.
2. Taxes should only serve to maintain a military, keep good public interior (i.e. roads, parks etc…), maintain law enforcement and support national security.
3. The people should decide what government is allowed to do; not the other way around.
4. The Constitution is a timeless document and not a living document (i.e. changes with current events).
When other issues that the media has coined as “conservative” like pro-life and anti gay marriage are brought up, it generalizes a diverse group. Those four principals are four that 99% of conservatives can agree on. Other issues like pro-life vs. pro-choice and gay marriage are social issues and not government issues, which shows that being a conservative is simply a word to describes someone’s opinion on size of government.
My next blog post is going to be about the 3 major political creeds in American politics: liberalism, conservatism and progressivism.

Welcome to the Conservative-Alternative.com Blog! This is the first post ever on this site, which is still pretty new itself. Here on this blog the goal would be to convey conservative principals in a current way, by taking a current event and finding a solution without sacrificing conservative principals.
Also, another goal for this blog is to occasionally pick a conservative principal and talk about it in today’s terms and not like the founding fathers spoke (very hard to understand).
This is a short one, but the conservative alternative thanks you and welcomes you at the same time!
Thank You!
