Sean Hannity Is Not A Conservative!

As you may know Sean Hannity is a conservative TV host on the Fox News Network and also the second largest radio host in America.

Well, as a conservative, and not a neo-conservative, I feel the need to call out Sean Hannity.

I am a huge critic of the Obama White House, there is no disputing this, just look around the site. Sean Hannity is also a large critic of the Obama White House, there is no disputing this either, just watch his show or listen to it on the radio.

Its not like by me taking shots at Sean Hannity is going to make any impact nor am I trying to make a name for myself by doing so either, but I do feel like there is a certain discrepancy that needs to be brought to the light about what real conservatism is and Sean Hannity the “neo-conservative”.

Neo-conservatism is a mix of social conservative principals (no government promotion of gay marriage, illegal immigration, pro-life ideals etc…) and a nice blend of progressive politics (using the government as a means to correct “errors” in social society or push an agenda).

Sean Hannity is a quintessential neo-conservative, which there is nothing wrong, but should not be confused with authentic conservatism.

Sean Hannity spends a lot of his time defending the nation building in Iraq, and to some degree the mission in Afghanistan. He seems to be ok with the notion of war with Iran. Believes that Roe v. Wade should be over turned (the government should have no say in the matter). That the public school system should be eventually gotten rid of because it takes away from free market principals (which I to some degree, agree with him on, but competing school districts promote “competition” something he uses as a basis for his argument).

I have no “beef” with Sean Hannity, but I am tired of hearing him say that he is a conservative when he is actually a neo-conservative.

Government Is The Problem pt. 3

Here is part 3 in our Government Is The Problem Series.

The bailouts that Washington D.C. has offered are hurting America and Americans more than you would think. The recent “craze” that is giving private industries government tax money to stay afloat, is reverse logic and quite stupid logic if you look at it through capitalistic glasses. If you gave every American a check for $2,500 it would cost the same as the Obama stimulus (3.27 trillion), but it would give the American worker immediate buying power, and we could make decisions for the market based off of our current needs.

This means if majority of that stimulus went to the automotive industry to buy Ford Rangers, then Ford would know that Americans crave Ford Rangers, and they would restructure their operations accordingly, making them more money and keeping them in the game for the long haul. Instead the money went directly to the companies and corporations (just pick one) with mandates from the public sector (the government) so what happens in the market isn’t based off of what the buyer needs it is based off of the government wants.

There is still hope though. General Motors or GM created an innovative automobile called the Chevy Volt . The Volt gets 230 mpg and is the definition of American ingenuity. There is no mandate from the feds, but Chevy still delivered based off of the American buyers needs. All businesses should take note of what Chevy has done. Try to create something that has never been done before, create a new idea, a new way to travel or a new way to live, then build it here and sell it here and you will find that we are the solution to the problems that have been created by those in Washington.

Obama loves to mention “politics as usual” well we can no longer to afford to do “business as usual”. We need to evolve and grow as a country of entrepreneurs and show the world that America is still the country of dreams come true.

Ok, supposedly if you are a conservative, your behavior needs to moderated and observed because you might be a militia member according to liberal politicians in Washington D.C.

This is truly outrageous. In a way it shows how nervous they are in losing their power. They know that the American people are not willing to just be passive and let them make a major power grab, so they resort to trying to make gullible people in the electorate nervous by calling their conservative neighbors militia members.

Pelosi Calls Protesters and Critics Un-American

Where does this woman come up with this stuff. She has pushed me to the point where it is hard to cover her objectively.

Point #1

Here is what I can offer when it comes to objectivity, here is what our founding fathers had to say:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government…”

“, liberty and the pursuit of happiness…” is the most striking phrase in that whole paragraph. It says that our government recognizes you as an individual (not one in a group of many or a collective) and that God gave you a life and free will (liberty) and the ability to pursue happiness. Nothing in that statement says that you are promised anything except for your freedom. That includes a job, a salary, a family, dog, house, car, nice things health care or anything, none of these things are promised to you. The beauty is that you are free to advance yourself in your career or not, and if/when you do you will have the means to purchase what you can afford. If you really want a new car, you work hard and save up for it, the same applies to health care.

Our founding fathers (those who define America) told us that we are guarenteed nothing except that we can achieve based on our hard work. So her statements are Anti-American

Point #2

From Ben Franklin:

“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

These people that are saying that they have the right to my money and your money to get health care without changing their life style are not only selfish but are all too comfortable in their own poverty. The fact that they would be willing to sacrifice pride in themselves means they deserve nothing they ask for.

Ben Franklin is undoubtedly a founding father and he says all these under cover commies deserve nothing. Another founder of America is telling us in his timeless manner that this blow hard from San Fran (Pelosi) is Anti-America.

Point #3

From Jefferson

“A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labour the bread which it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities.”

He explicitly states that the government should not take what is not its own, like your tax money maybe, but that is a whole arguement in itself. he also states that they shall do nothing that would hurt the business of Americas, like tax them to high hell and give others benefits they didn’t earn on their own merits. He also says that government should stay out of your affairs so that you can decide what happens in your own life, on your own terms. Taxing one to compensate another for health care is the exact opposite that our framers said that government was allowed to do.

Again Pelosi….You are so Anti American that it is almost incomprehensible that you are an elected representative of a country that stands for everything you are against.

The Pot Calling The Kettle Black

Congressional Democrats are coming home to their districts only to hear that the citizens are very upset with their performance and lack of original ideas. Protesters are watching the news and feel the need to go and tell their representatives that they are not ok with the government take over of health care.

Here is where the pot calls the kettle black. The DNC has an 8 million email contact list called Organizing America and orchestrated a massive campaign for Obama, that was by anyone’s standards, very organized. The Democrats are becoming paranoid and are accusing the Republicans of orchestrating a massive and deceptive campaign to shoot down The Chosen One Barack Obama’s health care plan.

On the contrary, I have never had a Republican politician come to me or anyone I know and asked to help do something political for them. The only people I have had call people to action are those on talk radio. Talk radio commentators are private citizens that are asking other private citizens to rise up and stop this government intervention into our medical privacy.

The truth is that this country is split. The Dems are nervous that they aren’t going to get what they want, which is control over yet another industry. So what do they do? The tell you that you are “astro turf” and nt authentic grass roots. Well let me tell you something, grass roots campaigning is a process of picking an issue, finding like minded people and then organizing a campaign of people to help you stop it.

All in all, the politicians who feel the need to degrade a private citizens protest is not only a small person, but they are also bigoted. These politicians are politicalists, people who are biased against people with opposing views. Normally I would use a traditional word like partisan, but as of lately these socialists like to change the words they use to describe things so it is more appealing (socialist>liberal>progressive, see how it works?).

So next time one of these politicalists has the audacity to denigrate your point of view, just remember, they are resorting to what any person with a lack of intelligence would do and that is the pot calling the kettle black.
