The People Are The Answer
How To Vote In 2010 Congressional Election
We are in the 2010 election cycle, which is a congressional election year. We will be voting for our district representatives and some of us will be voting for our senator.
A lot of voters are curious about who to vote for and how to decide on who is the best candidate. To help you out, I have compiled a few key traits that I look for in a candidate, hopefully it helps you in your quest to make the right decision this November.
The Conservative Alternative’s Guide To A Better Congress:
1. Do any of the politicians have your interests at heart?
This is the most obvious characteristic that most people look for before they go voting. So if majority of voters ask themselves this, why does our national congress have such a low approval rating?
The answer is simple! People do not actually THINK before voting (this is why we have the most liberal president in American history). Ask yourself what are the 3 most important things to you when it comes to government. For me it is low taxes, second amendment rights and property rights. These three issues would seem to be Republican owned issues, but that is not always the case. Someone who did not think before voting, whom also holds these same beliefs would more than likely blindly vote Republican (a good guess, but a dumb one at that). Take an hour once or twice before voting to get a good feel for how these people REALLY feel about your beliefs.
Example: I am a gun owner, and love the ability to purchase one when I want to, so to check my local elections, I would consult local gun store owners or the National Rifle Association’s website NRA.org to see their perspective on the people running for office in my area.
2. Does this person have a history of “gaffes” or “off color” remarks?
There is a big difference between “calling it, like you see it” and just down right being vulgar. Does the person running for office in your area have a history of “putting their foot in their mouth”? This may not seem like a big deal, but if someone regularly says something off color, that usually means they have more stuff to say right behind it.
This is important because no one respects a jerk, but most people respect the guy/gal who is tough and shoots straight. Look for the candidate who takes a stand, does not waver in the political wind and calls it out whenever it needs to be called out.
3. Consistency
To me this is the most important trait ever. There is something to be said about consistency. Even though I never agreed with much of what Ted Kennedy had to say or legislation he endorsed but I do respect the fact that he never once backed down on issues that he campaigned on and lived by.
For me someone who walks the talk that I believe in is Ron Paul. He has been consistent on key issue (all issues) for 25+ years. I have total respect for him and his positions on gun control, states rights, taxes and foreign policy.
Although I may not agree with you (the reader) on a political level, we can all agree that we need a clean slate in congress. This 2010 congressional election cycle needs to be a statement to our politicians that we need real representation, that we want our politicians to work for US and not for their own political careers. This is the only way to insure that we have a congress we approve of, and to finally be happy with the type of leadership in Washington D.C.

Continue Reading »Can Ron Paul Win In 2012?
Ron Paul has really stirred the political landscape in the past 3 decades, but he has never been as relevant like he has been in the past 4 years. Ron Paul has been repeating his warnings about the increasing large government, getting off the gold standard and our preventative foreign policy and how it will be the downfall of everything we know as “America” today.
Congressman Paul has been revered and reviled by both sides of the aisle, but seems to be getting more support as the American voter is looking for an alternative to the political norm. Most people are getting really bored of these age old arguments of: abortion, taxes, health care, yada yada yada……
Most people are looking for REAL solutions that will end the debate all together. The Democrats and the Republicans seem to only come up with quick fixes for all of these problems but fall short on solutions, and when our elected leaders offer us quick fixes, it seems like our tax money is wasted and only big donation givers are the ones that benefit.
When our congressman or senator is looking for ways to make an institution work, Ron Paul seems to think that if it isn’t working for us, then we don’t need it. He is truly a visionary and offers long lasting solutions to America’s problems.
I believe that Ron Paul has a good chance in 2012, he won the straw poll at CPAC (which he was mocked for winning), and young people know his name and like him. The only way that Ron Paul can be successful is if young people are willing to help his cause. Here is his website, go there and read about him, check out what his beliefs are and see if he is speaking to you and your beliefs.

Continue Reading »California Needs Meg Whitman!
Meg Whitman, the founder of Ebay and billionaire, is the type of leader that California needs! She obviously knows how to make money, something California needs badly.
California is spiraling out of control with its liberal pet project and spending programs, and is now so far in debt, they can not continue on the path they are following. The one candidate that is offering massive budget cuts is Meg Whitman, Republican candidate for the Californian Governor election.
She has proposed a 15 billion dollar budget cut on California’s spending and reducing their state employees to 40,000. These types of changes would save California a lot of money that they obviously need to balance their budget.
By reducing the spending and lowering the employees the state employs, they will be put into a position of lowering taxes (something I am sure is on the agenda). California as you may or may not know, has a really high tax rate, and high prices on all goods due to inflation. These type of proposals seem so obvious in order to fix the problems facing Californians, but as of lately no one has stepped up to the plate to implement them.
Meg Whitman has the correct vision to fix the Californian deficit. She is what they need to restore its status as a proud and rich state.

The Golden Patron is a good site that has just started. They are all about conservatism and the constitution. They have a good article about holding our elected officials responsible for their actions. They listed the number for the Senator Switchboard (you can contact representatives there too).
It also doesn’t hurt that I run it

This time these two reporters (very brave I might add), go to San Diego California to look for some help from ACORN. When they get there they talk to this guy about smuggling in underage girls from Tijuana Mexico to be sold for sex and this guy knows just how to do it. Not only is he willing to help, but he gives the reporters his private cell number so he can contact them at any time of day. The guy is a lawyer and boasts his knowledge of people he knows in Mexico and how he can get these underage girls into the US with no problem.
At the end of the second video the male reporter asks if ACORN will be ok with the help they are recieving and the guy says that it is no problem and creates casual conversation about how much the female reporter’s services cost.
Check This Out!!!!!
Part 1:
Part 2:
Keep in mind that ACORN was going to be running the US census in 2010, President Obama made that possible after they helped him get elected. Well, since the second video in this investigation came out the US Census Bureau has cut all ties with the organization.
The bravery displayed by these two young reporters shows you that the people are still in charge in America and everyone can make a difference! Get out there and let your colors shine!
