How To Vote In 2010 Congressional Election

How To Vote In 2010 Congressional Election

We are in the 2010 election cycle, which is a congressional election year. We will be voting for our district representatives and some of us will be voting for our senator.

A lot of voters are curious about who to vote for and how to decide on who is the best candidate. To help you out, I have compiled a few key traits that I look for in a candidate, hopefully it helps you in your quest to make the right decision this November.

The Conservative Alternative’s Guide To A Better Congress:

1. Do any of the politicians have your interests at heart?

This is the most obvious characteristic that most people look for before they go voting. So if majority of voters ask themselves this, why does our national congress have such a low approval rating?

The answer is simple! People do not actually THINK before voting (this is why we have the most liberal president in American history). Ask yourself what are the 3 most important things to you when it comes to government. For me it is low taxes, second amendment rights and property rights. These three issues would seem to be Republican owned issues, but that is not always the case. Someone who did not think before voting, whom also holds these same beliefs would more than likely blindly vote Republican (a good guess, but a dumb one at that). Take an hour once or twice before voting to get a good feel for how these people REALLY feel about your beliefs.

Example: I am a gun owner, and love the ability to purchase one when I want to, so to check my local elections, I would consult local gun store owners or the National Rifle Association’s website NRA.org to see their perspective on the people running for office in my area.

2. Does this person have a history of “gaffes” or “off color” remarks?

There is a big difference between “calling it, like you see it” and just down right being vulgar. Does the person running for office in your area have a history of “putting their foot in their mouth”? This may not seem like a big deal, but if someone regularly says something off color, that usually means they have more stuff to say right behind it.

This is important because no one respects a jerk, but most people respect the guy/gal who is tough and shoots straight. Look for the candidate who takes a stand, does not waver in the political wind and calls it out whenever it needs to be called out.

3. Consistency

To me this is the most important trait ever. There is something to be said about consistency. Even though I never agreed with much of what Ted Kennedy had to say or legislation he endorsed but I do respect the fact that he never once backed down on issues that he campaigned on and lived by.

For me someone who walks the talk that I believe in is Ron Paul. He has been consistent on key issue (all issues) for 25+ years. I have total respect for him and his positions on gun control, states rights, taxes and foreign policy.

Although I may not agree with you (the reader) on a political level, we can all agree that we need a clean slate in congress. This 2010 congressional election cycle needs to be a statement to our politicians that we need real representation, that we want our politicians to work for US and not for their own political careers. This is the only way to insure that we have a congress we approve of, and to finally be happy with the type of leadership in Washington D.C.

Pelosi Mocks Obama’s Promise For Transparency

Pelosi Mocks Obama’s Promise For Transparency

President Obama promised to have this health care debate we are having on C-SPAN so the American people would be able to watch and see who is for what, and who is making the best arguments.

When a reporter asked Speaker Pelosi what she thought about Obama’s promise to keep the debate transparent and on C-SPAN, she laughs a little and says this:

What a slap in the face, but yet she is being honest for once. Nancy Pelosi is basically letting us know something that the 61 million people who voted against Obama have known all along….Obama is a liar.

In 2010 we need to boot out all of these corrupt liberals and progressives (Democrats and Republicans alike), and vote in true conservatives and libertarians like Ron Paul.

We can not afford to have a government like the one we have now for much longer. We need modesty, fiscal conservatism and maximum freedom to get out of this mess.

The Enemy At Home: Al Gore

Dec 2nd, 2009 by Keith
The Enemy At Home: Al Gore

Government Is The Problem: Al Gore Edition!

It seems that every generation has its bad seeds, and every other generation has some bad apples, and then every other other generation has some bad people (really bad people).

Now I want to take some time to analyze Al Gore. This generation’s “bad person”.

Al Gore was a senator from Tennessee that went on to become Bill Clinton’s Vice President from ‘93-’01. Since being Vice President, he has made a name for himself by pitching the idea that your bottled water is going to somehow inadvertently kill a polar bear and the automobile industry is more of a threat than a dictator in Iran who has said on numerous occasions that he wants to annihilate all Jews and Americans (i.e. Ahmadinejad).

It seems that Mr. Gore has gone completely mad with his pure and good intentions right?

WRONG!

In order to understand how truly evil this man is you must first understand his roots….more evil.

Al Gore is the son of Sen. Al Gore Sr., another Democrat from Tennessee. Gore Sr. used his position as a Senator to cover for corrupt businessmen (like Armand Hammer, not only a corrupt businessman but also a spy for the Soviet KGB) and used his clout to open doors for “big oil” companies to access foreign leaders who were un-accessible by law. After Sen. Gore Sr. left office he found a really comfortable job with one of Armand Hammer’s subsidiaries making $500,000 a year, not bad for a family of socialists!

Even if Al Gore’s daddy was a self-serving politician who used his position as an elected official to make more money for himself and his friends, how does that reflect upon, or even relate to Gore himself?

It’s simple.

Al Gore has been parading around the globe in private jets telling everyday people that their car is going to cause another tornado in Kansas and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. But he knows that most people think he’s full of it (he’s smart enough to know that, he knows everything, just ask him!). So the only solution would be to create laws that would force people to change their lifestyle. Gore has repetedly called upon congress and given speeches about the need to mandate laws in America that would not only create extremely high carbon standards for automobiles, but also for Americans to be taxed on the carbon they use (have you been taxed enough?).

If Al Gore were to get his way tomorrow, and everyone payed taxes for using carbon, and everyone took the subway, and the only plane in the sky was his, would he go away? Would he be content?

The answer is…..no!

It is evident that there is something a lot more sadistic going on beyond saving the animals and trees. By creating a threat (global warming) you have to identify its source (people). After the source has been identified, you must then address it, which in it of itself is scary. The Gore movement has sparked the idea that this is not only an American problem, but an international crisis, which requires international action. As a conservative, when politicians start saying “international”, I get nervous!

The threat isn’t global warming, and people aren’t the cause of it if it were real. This whole idea that there needs to be an international body that monitors daily life is lunacy, but also very evil. Once you have been stripped of you ability to transport yourself, you will find it hard to earn money and hard to provide for yourself, which leads to one thing….government dependency, something I am sure the government can afford with the tax revenue that they will make off of Gore’s new book sales right?

See politicians want to take away your ability to function so they can control you. Gore, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Clinton and whoever else aren’t concerned with what is going to happen in the next 30-45 years, they won’t be here for it, they are simply playing off of you emotions and good heart to gain more power to fill a void in there being that they can’t fill without controlling every aspect of your life, my life and everybody’s life.

Here is a good video of people confronting Gore at his last book signing deal:

The AMA Might Withdraw Support of Obamacare!

The AMA Might Withdraw Support of Obamacare!

It looks like the American Medical Association is having some internal debate about the organization’s formal support of Obamacare.

A board of trustees made the endorsement without having an official vote among the members of the organization. There is a growing community of outraged AMA members who feel like the endorsement was made against the consensus of the AMA’s members. On Monday the members will cast a vote on a resolution that will withdraw support for the Obamacare endorsement.

Will the AMA withdraw support for Obamacare? If they do will it finally bring the bill to its own demise?

Conservatives Outnumber Everybody!

Oct 26th, 2009 by Keith
Conservatives Outnumber Everybody!

According to a new Gallup Poll conducted, where people were asked whether they would consider themselves to be a conservative, moderate or liberal, 40% of the people asked said that they were conservative, 36% consider themselves to be moderate and just a mere 20% said they were liberal. This time last year Gallup took the same poll and found that Conservatives and Moderates were at a tie with 37%.

Now with the knowledge that this country is a center-right country, why would our President be trying to push a far left agenda?

President Obama ran on the platform of being something new and different. He made us “hopeful” for real “change”. Most honest people took him at his word in believig that he was going to end the closed door style politics of the Bush administration, but it seems that he has doubled down on what we voted against.

He has only expanded on what George Bush started. He has expanded our detention rights against foreign enemies (Guantanamo Bay), expanded government programs, continued both wars in the middle east, taken over the auto industry and banking industry, kept everything he is doing behind closed doors and also has taken on trying to eliminate Fox News. These are all actions that Obama blasted the Bush Administration for but has either continued or expanded on.

You could say that President Obama seems to admire Bush. He has done nothing but taken Bush’s policies and put them on steroids.

This country is rejecting Obama’s failed politics. President Obama blasted Bush and McCain on the campaign trail for playing politics of the past, but you could almost say Obama is too. The President has surrounded himself with far left extremists and Socialist/Marxists that are abiding to a type of government that has been proven to fail for almost a century now. Since them subscribe to the idea that government is smarter than the people, I would have to say that Obama is just playing the politics of ancient Egypt, Rome, France, Socialist Germany, the U.S.S.R. and China.

All around the world Socialism, Communism and Marxism have been tried over and over again in different forms, sizes, shapes and scopes, but have proven to help nobody except for those in charge and those who controlled majority of major industries.

So if you are a politician life will be good in the U.S.S.A.

Thanks a lot Obama for trying your absolute hardest to help YOURSELF.

Stay Strong!
